Lynda Ryan’s Pendant Class. Saturday, April 21 from 1:00 – 4:00 p.m. Students will learn the
fundamentals of wire wrapping a pendant. The class costs $55 and includes a kit for making two wire-wrapped pendants in silver-filled wire: one in class, plus instruction and materials for
making one at home. At the completion of the class, each student will have a semi-precious gemstone pendant wire wrapped. Types, sizes and hardness of wire will be discussed. Included are
techniques on handling and twisting square wire and using half-round wire. If the student has three tools (flat-nose pliers, round-nose pliers, and flush or close cutters), please bring them.
If not, the teacher can provide, but sharing adds time to the class. A sample of the pendant is in the Gallery. Class is limited to 6 students. To register call 352-344-9300.
Chris Randle’s Origami (Japanese Paper Folding) Class. Students will learn to fold the traditional
crane shape and a box in which to keep it. Colorful handmade paper will be used, varnished and embellished with beads and wire to make a beautiful and durable ornaments. Cost is $30 and all

Keith Gum’s Papermaking Class. Students will learn the ancient art of making
handmade paper from start to finish; from basic pulp paper making techniques to pulp production, forming, couching, and drying, using traditional methods, including how to pull sheets of paper as
